As well as retaining the heat you've paid for, our glass also traps heat provided by the sun, so it is effectively subsidising your heating bills even further.

Every time the sun shines, especially in winter, our glass will be putting that energy to good use where it matters most - in your home. But this doesn't mean you will overheat as the coating works most effectively when there is a substantial difference between the temperatures indoors and out.

In summer, the difference between the indoor and outdoor temperatures is very small, so the extra insulating effect is supressed and your home maintains an even temperature. It may feel hotter in the summer but this is simply caused by lack of air circulation and can be remedied by opening a window.
